The tippo hippo has a pair of what seem to be antennae on its head, differentiating it from the hippopotamus even more. Some other notable features include a collar around its neck, pink frills that cover its feet, and a small tail-all of which are pink.
The tippo hippo is a passive creature that primarily eats plants.

The tippo hippo makes its first appearance in "Zoo Hullabaloo". Widget and the zookeeper ride one to Wubbzy's house. When Wubbzy sees it, he initially believes that the tippo hippo is also staying with him and pleads that it isn't. Widget then reassures Wubbzy that it won't, and the zookeeper adds that the zoo exhibits have been fixed.
The tippo hippo makes various other appearances in the show, primarily in music videos. In "Don't Lie", Wubbzy blames one for felling a Birdy Bird's tree. In "Kooky!", a tippo hippo is seen belly-flopping into a pool.
