Recap[]
The episode begins with Wubbzy meeting Daizy on the sidewalk. Wubbzy shows Daizy a penny he found, which he believes will bring him good luck. While they're taking a walk, Wubbzy walks under a ladder and freaks out, thinking it's bad luck to do so. Daizy believes that walking under a ladder is just a superstition. While Wubbzy still thinks walking under a ladder causes bad luck, he accidentally drops the penny he found. He chases after it but trips into a trash can full of trash. Daizy reminds Wubbzy that walking under a ladder has nothing to do with losing his penny. When a black cat passes by Wubbzy and Daizy, Wubbzy thinks the black cat is also the cause of bad luck, but Daizy believes it's just another superstition. A bus drives by and splashes water all over Wubbzy. Wubbzy then sees a sign with the number 13 on it and thinks 13 is a number for bad luck. He flees to avoid any bad luck but stops when he sees two men carrying a mirror. Wubbzy worries that breaking a mirror means seven years of bad luck, so he runs in another direction. Widget, carrying her toolbox and eating a banana, walks by. Wubbzy bumps into Widget, causing her Whammer Hammer to fly in circles and break the mirror. Wubbzy starts to worry that he's receiving even more bad luck, but Widget tells him that bad luck isn't real. Wubbzy still thinks that bad luck is everywhere. While fleeing, he slips on a banana peel and lands on wet cement.
At the Wubb Club, Walden also believes that bad luck isn't real. Wubbzy still thinks bad luck is real and needs help. So Walden looks in a book and suggests that a horseshoe will bring Wubbzy good luck.
Wubbzy heads to the farm and asks Farmer Whiffle if he can borrow a horseshoe. Farmer Whiffle agrees and lets Wubbzy borrow one from Old Snoozy the Horse. Just as Wubbzy politely asks Old Snoozy for a horseshoe, Snoozy wakes up and runs away. Wubbzy chases after Snoozy but ends up in a huge mud puddle. A pig below Wubbzy runs to a chicken coop and takes one of the chickens with it. They suddenly bump into a grain silo, causing a pile of grain to pour all over them. After they pop their heads out of the grain pile, Wubbzy thinks that wasn't very lucky.
Back at the Wubb Club, Wubbzy asks Walden what else could give him good luck. Walden suggests that a four-leaf clover might bring good luck, but it would be impossible to find. Daizy insists that she can grow a four-leaf clover for Wubbzy, but she ends up growing a sixteen-leaf clover. Wubbzy thinks a sixteen-leaf clover equals four times the good luck, but then a big wind blows him away. Wubbzy flies through the Cheese Tree Forest, zooms through Cactus Hill, and flies through Cracker Castle. He believes he really is unlucky. Wubbzy flies across the Wuzzleburg Bake-Off, but as soon as the wind stops, he falls from the sky, bounces on the table where Chef Fritz is making his dish, and lands on the ground. Wubbzy, now stumped, can't figure out how to stop his bad luck. Walden believes that Wubbzy's fear is what created his bad luck, but Wubbzy still thinks bad luck is real and sadly decides to go home until his luck changes.
On his way home, Wubbzy suddenly sees the black cat from before and flees. He worries that letting the black cat pass by him again will bring more bad luck. Wubbzy hides behind an ice cream truck, but the black cat turns out to be the ice cream lady's pet cat. She gives Wubbzy a Doodleberry Swirl Cone as a thank-you for finding her cat, named Lucky.
Wubbzy meets Chef Fritz on the sidewalk. Chef Fritz gives Wubbzy a blue ribbon as thanks for helping him win the Wuzzleburg Bake-Off. Wubbzy meets Farmer Whiffle and Old Snoozy, and Farmer Whiffle shows him the trophy he won at the Wuzzleburg Horse Race. Farmer Whiffle gives Wubbzy the trophy as thanks for chasing Snoozy at the farm. After Farmer Whiffle and Old Snoozy leave, Daizy, Widget, and Walden ask Wubbzy how he got all that stuff. Wubbzy says that his luck changed, and he was lucky to have friends who cared about him. Wubbzy gets the penny he lost back and thinks he is lucky. The bus from before splashes water all over Widget, Walden, and Daizy. Wubbzy, Widget, Walden, and Daizy all laugh together, ending the episode.
