Summary[]
The Man on the Moon is asleep, so Wubbzy, Widget, and Walden go to wake him up.
Recap[]
Wubbzy wakes up to find that the moon is still out and there's no sun when it's supposed to be morning. All around town, people are stumbling in the dark and inable to do their things. When Wubbzy meets the Mailman, he gets caught off-guard and tumbles into a sewer hole. He approaches his friends Huggy, Buggy, and Earl wanting to play a game of Tossy-Ball, when Widget arrives and Wubbzy trips on her toolbox. The two discuss the problem and head over to Walden's house.
At the observatory, Walden finds out that the Man on the Moon, who's supposed to drive the moon across the sky, overslept. The three friends use Widget's space ship to fly to the moon to wake up the man on the moon.
However, Wubbzy accidentally sends them off course, past the last planets in the solar system, all the way to the "Dark Zone". After avoiding the Dark Zone aliens, a comet, and an asteroid, a black hole brings them back on course to the moon. They wake up the man on the moon and return to earth. However, just as they begin to celebrate, Wubbzy's tail accidentally pulls the lever again, and they all fly into space again.

- The episode's title is likely a reference to the song "Fly Me to the Moon" (originally known as "In Other Words"), written by composer Bart Howard in 1954.
