A group of doodlebugs,
The doodlebug is an insect species in Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!. The species is found in the Wuzzamboo Jungle, and their only appearance in the show was in “Call of the Mild”.
Description[]
Doodlebugs are insects that resemble small crayons, and seem to come in a variety of colors. Each doodlebug has 4 tiny limbs, as well as a pair of fly-like wings.
Doodlebugs appear to fly in swarms. When they encounter someone, they will begin to aggressively draw random symbols on them.
Role in Episode[]
The doodlebugs only appear in the episode “Call of the Mild”. Upon reaching a body of water, Wubbzy finds a group of them. Unaware of the bugs, he asks Walden what they are. After Walden teaches Wubbzy about the doodlebugs, Daizy asks why they are called “doodlebugs” in the first place, when the doodlebugs begin aggressively swarming around Wubbzy. Daizy then suggests that she and the rest of everybody should activate their bug nets, something everyone (except Wubbzy) does. Due to Wubbzy not having his bug net, he is attacked by the doodlebugs, who all draw on him.
