Summary[]
After his movie debut with the Wubb Girlz in "Lights, Camera Wubbzy", Wubbzy begins his career as a movie star and stars in four movies. However, he is too busy to spend time with his friends, so his friends prepare to go back to Wuzzleburg without him. Wubbzy must choose whether to stay in Wuzzlewood and continue his acting career or go home with his friends to Wuzzleburg.
Recap[]
Jann Starl explains that after his stellar performance in the Wubb Girlz's film, Wubbzy is in demand for all kinds of movies. The scene moves on to another day in Wuzzlewood where Wubbzy and his friends were having relaxation at a hotel while the Wubb Girlz head off onto their next concert. Walden’s going to play a round of golf, Widget’s going to go surfing, and Daizy’s going to go shopping! Not to mention, Wubbzy has another plan in mind to watch the Captain Wonderpants marathon on TV. Just then, the Director casts him in a quick succession of films: a horror movie (The Monster of Wuzzleburg Bog), a swashbuckler (Yellow Tail the Pirate), and a racing flick (Hot Rod Hullabaloo) while Daizy feels like Wubbzy can’t play with her anymore! Wubbzy is exhausted - being a star is hard work! He feels as if he missing out on having fun with his friends. Wubbzy stumbles upon Widget, Daizy and Walden as they are packing to go home. They have work waiting back in Wuzzleburg, and besides, doing things without Wubbzy is not fun and they depart in the Wubbmobile.
Suddenly, the Director whisks Wubbzy off for his biggest movie role yet: a superhero feature, Super Wubbzy. Wubbzy groans about having to work on the movie, but when the Wubb Girlz bump into him, they shed light on a little secret of theirs: being a star is fun, but being with your friends is more important. Just as Wubbzy is about to shoot his first scene on the set of Super Wubbzy, he realizes that the Girlz are right. His friends are more important than being a star! He flies after everybody in his super costume and says farewell to the Wubb Girlz! Meanwhile, Jann Starl reports that Wubbzy is leaving Wuzzlewood for good. The others were on the road worried about Wubbzy when he immediately lands in the Wubbmobile. Goodbye, Wuzzlewood - next stop, Wuzzleburg! The Wuzzleburg townspeople turn out for a big party to celebrate the homecoming of their favorite celebrity. Now repatriated in their city, Wubbzy and his friends know there's no place like home!
